Jervis BAY TOP 10

01

Waterside Walks

Did you know you can walk for 8.5km from Hyams Beach to Huskisson without leaving the water’s edge? It’s simply spectacular. South from Jervis St in Vincentia, take White Sands Walking Track through the bush past peaceful beaches to Hyams. Or going north from Plantation Point, the path is concreted/boardwalk to Husky. Cafes at both ends make this unmissable.

02

Beaches

We are spoilt for choice with 16 white sand beaches in Jervis Bay with some of the clearest water you’ll ever see. You’ll find a guide to all of them in our guest booklet in the property. Make sure you catch the sunrise over the horizon.

03

BRUNCH

Whether you’re after a coffee, B&E roll, smavo or stack of pancakes, Husky’s cafes cook up a storm. Visit Harley's, Jervis Bay Coffee, 5 Little Pigs, Salty Joe’s, or at Hyams Beach, The Cooked Goose. Also don't just stop the caffeine in the morning, check out Jervis Bay Coffee's Martini Club over the weekends for epic espresso martinis, live music and much more.

BAKERIES
FOOD TRUCKS

For food on the move, we’re spoilt for choice. Try Kraken Sourdough (just outside Huskisson town centre) or Flour Water Salt (right in Husky) for delicious baked goods. Meanwhile hunt down our favourite food trucks for pizza, Japanese, Mediterranean or much more. We love Wandering Woodfire Oven, Ookini and Seadog. You can also order picnic hampers from Hampers at Harley's - we can even have them delivered and waiting for you when you check in.

05

DOLPHINS AND WHALES

Jervis Bay is home to over 100 bottle nose dolphins, fur seal colonies and from May to November is one of the best places to see migrating humpback whales. Head out on a boat tour from Huskisson or for a unique experience, book a dive with Woebegone Freedive.

06

BOODEREE NATIONAL PARK

Escape it all in Booderee. Stroll off the beaten track to find secret beaches, stretch your legs through incredible bush trails and look out for native wildlife. Our favourite spot is Scottish Rocks - you’ll think you’ve stepped onto a desert island.

07

HIDDEN GEMS

From an Aboriginal cultural tour with Djiriba Waagura, to exploring the mangrove boardwalk at Jervis Bay Maritime Museum, to taking the Husky Ferry up Currambene Creek, there is so much more to discover that as our guest you’ll get the insider guide to.

08

DINNERS OUT

Head to Husky for your evening meal, visit Wild Ginger (complete with happy hour cocktails), Peter Eva, Pasta Buoy, Serotonin on Currambene or Kanpai. Alternatively, keep an eye out for Husky cafes’ seasonal special dinner nights including at Jervis Bay Coffee or for something special, try The Gunyah at Paperbark Camp. After dinner, head to Buds Tavern for a cocktail and good vibes.

LOCAL BREWS

Award winning, local beers are made right here in Jervis Bay and served up with plenty of good vibes (and yummy food trucks) at Jervis Bay Brewing Co. What’s more, you’ll also find Flamin Galah Brewpub in Husky and more breweries
in Nowra. Or extend your trip and join the South Coast Ale trail, stretching from Wollongong to Pambula near the Victorian border, taking in a diverse range of nine craft breweries and much of the country's most beautiful coastline.

10

DAY TRIPS

As if there wasn’t enough to do, further afield explore more South Coast highlights such as the Beecroft Weapons Range and Honeymoon Bay in the north of Jervis. Take a drive to towns like Milton and Berry for boutique shops and foodie delights or visit our many amazing Shoalhaven wineries. We’ll treat you to a bottle from Silos Estate when you arrive.
